Goldman Sachs Human Capital Management Internship Callback

Hi everyone,

I'm currently an undergrad at Rutgers University (not in the business school) and got a callback for an in-person interview with Goldman Sachs for a summer internship in their Human Capital Management division. I am ridiculously excited and surprised that I got through to an interview and really want to be extra prepared for the interview.

What do companies like Goldman look for? What should I emphasize? What would really make me stand out compared to other applicants? Has anyone else here interviewed for this role have any feedback that would be useful? ANY relevant information that could help me in this interview would be GREATLY appreciated. This seems like the opportunity of a lifetime...

Why is this posted under investment banking?

Regardless, I’m sure it’ll be like any other hr interview.
I’m sure being an attractive blond bubbly girl will help.

In terms of things you can actually control:
Obviously, be able to speak about everything that’s on your resume and be prepared to be grilled on it.
Be ready to answer why Goldman Sachs, why human resources, why a financial firm rather than another type.
I’m assuming you’ve had a first round interview already?
If so, the person who gave the first round will be able to answer more specifics about what you should prepare for. Don’t be afraid to reach out to them and ask for help.
