good at the "wrong" subject

I'm good at AP U.S. Government.. don't really know why because I absolutely hate it.

Last test, I kept putting off studying until 6:00 am in the morning. I thought I totally bombed it but somehow I still managed to get 16/20 on the multiple choice AP questions, the highest score in my class...***!? >_<

I wish I can do that with my AP physics and English and Literature classes...o_o

I was realy good at State Req. but the only way that helped me was geting my permit.

Me:
Love math and science 95-97 in those classes
Don't really like humanities: 96-100 in those classes...

Oh, wow, it sucks that you're so bad at the classes you really love. It must be hard for you.

Oh, god yes. My entire family is full of doctors and chemists and I've always been more interested in reading and creative writing. But I do worse in English than in Chem! Math and chem make sense to me, and it's annoying because I'm a good writer but am just not good at interpreting symbols and books.

Yeah, I really wish I were a science person. I'm afraid that I'll get no job and no respect if I go off and major in English or something (which I enjoy and am decently good at).
I feel dumb.
