I kno upenn wharton is the best business school for undergrad, but what else? northwestern and many other are good but there all graduate...

NYU-Stern, USC-Marshall.

MIT Sloan. Berkeley Haas.

Others you may want to consider are the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor), University of Washington, Boston University, Babson College (which is strictly business), etc. Don't forget, many grad schools will accept students of any major. If you choose to double, you may be able to find a job related to your first degree while you work for your MBA.

UTexas, Emory, Indiana

Both USNW and Business Week put out lists of the top undergraduate business schools.

I think USNW's list (in order, top to bottom) is something like:
Wharton (UPenn), MIT, UC Berkeley, Michigan, NYU, Texas, North Carolina, USC, Virginia, Indiana and Cornell; and

Business Week's list (in order, top to bottom) is something like:
Wharton (UPenn), Virginia, Notre Dame, MIT, Emory, NYU, Michigan, Brigham Young, Cornell and Indiana (note: Business Week admitted that USC sent in the wrong data, so they might have been top ten otherwise)--UC Berkeley was 12th on the Business Week list.

Business Week put emphasis on recruiter's comments which USNW didn't consider at all.

Careful with ratings though. BusinessWeek, USNews, and Wall Street Journal all put out lists, and there are heated debates over which are valid and which are crocks. It's better to pick up a guide like Fiske or the Princeton Review (I personally chose Fiske) and then some research at sites like www.collegeboard.com or www.myplan.com, which is newer but has some good information.

thanks everyone! i really appreciate it!

I juast wanna share this: I just had a close glimpse of Berkeley-HAAS and man, I was swayed away by the beauty of the school. If you can get into HAAS, then pursue it. I really think it's a wonderful business school to go to.

While I don't want to be harsh, I think that's a pretty superficial way of considering schools. Perhaps the most beautiful business school campus I have ever seen is Boston University's - I think it's better looking than even Harvard Business School or Wharton, and clearly better looking than the MIT Sloan School. But that doesn't mean that I would choose to go to BU over any of those 3 schools. Far from it, in fact.
