hahaha, I come in peace. I have no intention of wasting my time with Cornelians :).

Isn't it ironic that the good looking people thread always devolves into a discussions on alcohol? You guys are shaping up to be proper Cornellians already.

haha so true

It's so very lonely...I need my afternoon scotch :/

Edit That was a joke, I only drink gin & tonics at this hour

Lol

I'm loving my new headphones =) (sennheiser HD 590)

I "obtained" a pair of sennheiser HD 580's back in my senior year of highschool. While I liked the sound quality and frequency dynamics, the fact that they had no amplification killed them for me. I had them hooked up to my amplified headphone jack on my Klipsch 4.1's, but it wasn't enough, I ended up returning them.

Jesus, those are like $300 headphones, aren't they?! I could never spend that much on headphones... I need headphones that'll stay in my ear while working out-any suggestions? I like the Sony Fantopia headphones, but I haven't heard their sound quality. Anyone use anything for working out/running?

i use the phillips streetstyle headphones--decent sound quality, like $10 bucks, and mad comfortable and stays secured

cool, thanks! Some of the street style headphones are very uncomfortable now (they don't have any cushioning between the plastic bar and the back of your ear, and it's a pain in the butt), so I hadn't looked at those. Thanks for the input though, Jokaking.

no problemo--ive never had these fall off btw, they have been really good for me and the price is unbeatable--i dont have the model # since my friend hijacked my ipod--its in his car

My headphones were bought during thanksgiving from Amazon.com during some thanksgiving special. They were only $99

I like my 590s, their impendence is about twice as low as HD580s. I believe that HD580's impendence is 300 ohms, yet HD590's is 120ohms, so they sound good through most sound equipment. :)

ooo I'm a little late but I'm another pre-frosh whose going around with you, Spanks. Hah and the 3 friends i'm bringing

The more the merrier/more amusing.

lol id go around w/ nova--that dude seems to know how to party

Why thankyou. You're all welcome to stop by for a swig and some beruit

lol quick reply haha yeah ur gonna get me into one of those clubs too right?

What clubs? There are no clubs, havn't I gone over this?

haha

I love being home, everyone calls it beer pong :).

Actually I saw that as a group on your facebook.
The two are actually not the same, and beer pong is an often used misnomer (I originally called it beer pong too, and so do most people in my area of Jersey/NYC)
Beer pong actually refers to playing beirut with ping pong paddles, otherwise the rules are largely the same. The game is believed to be derived from regular ping pong that some frat kids decided should be turned into a drinking game. The name and game is believed to have originated a few decades ago from Dartmouth. I have never seen anyone play an actual game of beer pong.
I now use the term beirut :)
