On behalf of all the Tiger parents, I wish you best of luck and hope that your dreams are realized in the next day or two.

If you do get accepted, I hope you matriculate at Princeton - you (or your parents) won't regret it.

And if you are not one of those lucky ones, my deepest condolences. Don't be depressed. Nothing was/is wrong with you - this year they decided to admit only those with pointy ears with six toes and orange hair.

This is so sweet! Thanks, simba! (even though technically the message wasn't to us EDers, but whatever) I can't wait to join the amazing Princeton community!

Seconding that as the parents who wish you well. I have come to feel that in some way some of you are like my virtual kids....

Of course that does not mean I will do your laundry:). But it does mean I wish you well and want you all to know that if you are accepted, congratulations and if not, DO NOT WORRY - all will be fine, I promise.

Also want to add a couple of words. If you were denied admission, I'm sure you'll have a great experience at another school. Admission is a big-picture game in many ways that, beyond a certain point, reflects the need to create a varied class rather than the merits of individual students.

My congratulations to those who have been admitted. As a Tiger you have the chance to get involved in an intense campus life with opportunities you can hardly imagine to work closely with faculty, get involved with amazing campus groups, get to know other outstanding and creative students, have fun, and enjoy incredible school spirit -- all in a beautiful place.
