<p>hey, a lot of you have said you've gotten into northwestern too. i just got accepted and am still waiting on a few other schools. how are you going to decide between the two? when i visited both, i didn't like NU nearly as much as i liked uchicago. but now i'm kind of torn because NU seems to be really active and energized. nothing is quite like uchicago in terms of atmosphere, people etc. but is NU also more "selective"? what do you think?</p>

<p>After talking to financial aid officer at another school, my mom sent off her tax return to all of the schools that I applied to. 3 days after I sent it off, UofC requested that we send more info to the financial aid committee. For the past week I keep convincing myself that it means that I'm in - the actual committee wouldn't need more info if I didn't get in and they were putting my packet together, right? I'm so nervous - it's my number one choice. </p>

<p>I think that I don't know. Speculations are all I can do, and those are just that, speculations. I wouldn't want to get anyone's hopes up b/c I really have no idea.</p>
<p>Na, they do it for everybody whose application is not complete.</p>
<p>Unless it was complete and they now need more. I dont know without knowing what they requested (and in my experiance as EA, I knew I was in when they asked for more)</p>
<p>Good luck, people. I'm sure most of you will get in - wish I could say the same for myself. There's always UVa for me if I don't, so I'm happy about that.</p>
<p>If we all get in, we ought to do something wild at Orientation. Like howling in the Reg and annoying those who have already started studying for the midterms. :p</p>
<p>Or we should have a monstrous CC banner printed and run around oritentation clotheslining non-CC tools with it.</p>

<p>Wow, if you're going to pull month-old AIM conversations into this thread, at least be sure that you remember them correctly.</p>
<p>Only time I used the phrase "CC creeper" was when I jokingly referred to myself. If you'd been more attentive you would've noticed that I was using that phrase every time you spoke of yourself as Miss I-Am-Popular-yet-I-Post-on-Internet-Messageboards. ;)</p>
