The single-choice early action round applications are in and being acted on, and soon the regular round applications will be due. Good luck to all of this year's applicants. Anyone applying to Stanford should be sure to apply to a safety college as well,

but wait a minute...
ok maybe it's cause I'm semi-new here and this is a very stupid question, but how does tokenadult know this? Does he/she work for Stanford??
Also, Tokenadult, does this mean that decisions will be sent in the next few days? or should we still wait until Dec. 15?

Er, it's public knowledge. I could've told you the same, as could most of the people on this forum -- it says so on the Stanford site. =p

When I read the last part of Tokenadult's paragraph, I started laughing.

Last year, one of our seniors in the top decile applied there and no where else. He was so cocky, but he didn't get in, and now he attends the local community college XD

Yeah, what kyledavid80 said about the admission cycle. I just mean that I know the Stanford admission staff is working on the early round applications, because they have announced that they will give out decisions about those in just two weeks (approximately).
