Good non-fiction books?

Preferably science related. I want to read some non-fictions to expand my knowledge (practical knowledge).

If you’re interested in theoretical physics or the cosmos, try reading books by Michio Kaku, Stephen Hawking, or Brian Greene.

Dawkins has done some fascinating books, particularly on evolutionary biology. Some people will disagree with his stuff, which is very controversial, but if you are happy with this they are excellent. I’m reading The Selfish Gene at the moment.

And just found out he was the one to come up with the word meme :)

I am happy with evolution, so I think I will read his books.
Anyone has more recommendations?
