<p>What colleges produce the students with the highest salaries after graduation? This is a pretty open-ended question, but I'm specifically interested in economics majors. Note that I'm referring to salaries upon getting a BA, not higher degrees like PhD and MBA.</p>

<p>The quick and easy answer is that it is the top schools you would suspect. They have the best econ programs, attract the smartest students, which in turn attracts recruiters from the most prestigious, successful, and well-paying firms (Goldman Sachs, etc)</p>
<p>So you can start with the Ivy League + Stanford and MIT.</p>
