Good philosophy programs

Hello! I'm an international student and I applied to Harvard, Yale, Brown, Reed, Grinnell and Amherst. I know that the possibilities of being accepted at any of these schools are near zero for me, but, if by a miracle I get into two or more, I would like to know which ones have the best Philosophy and Literature programs.

Thank you for your help!

Amherst and Reed are both mentioned as having good philosophy programs among LACs.

<a href="http://www.philosophicalgourmet.com/undergrad.asp%5B/url%5D">http://www.philosophicalgourmet.com/undergrad.asp</a></p>

Harvard and Yale are best for literature, especially comp lit.

Being deferred instead of rejected by Harvard, I hardly think your chances are near zero at any of these schools!

Rutgers University has the number 2 ranked philosophy department in the country.

That's grad school not undergrad.

Yes, I was deferred with a 2020 SAT.. but hey, they reject only like 5 % of the applicants so... that's not a big achivement. Anyway, thank you so much for your help. I was wandering, what should have more weight? The major or the undergraduate experience in general? Because, for example... I really like Harvard's core curriculum... but maybe Reed or Amherst are better for the majors I'm planning to study. What do you think?
