good piano summer program- Eastman?

I don't know about piano, but I took a trip up to Eastman recently (a typical college-visit-type trip) and from what I heard the summer program seemed like a great idea. The courses and lessons are technically taught by the community music school faculty, but both professors I had lessons with (that teach at the college, not the community school) said that they offer lessons to students in the summer program free of charge while they're there.

D attended the Eastman summer program a number of years ago,but for flute not piano. The Eastman program is supposed to mimic the freshman curriculum experience a Performance major would have in college. It might not be as concentrated in piano time as your child might like. They take theory, history, ear training, etc. They take tests, get grades. There's lots of collabrative ensemble formation and performing (but maybe not for pianists).Kids come from all over the US,they all live in the same dorm, right down the street from the performance/classroom venue. There's a music college fair, and a gala final concert with recording. D enjoyed herself,it helped make up her mind about the BMus path, and she loved the collabrative atmosphere.Wasn't so crazy about Eastman/Rochester itself. She met people from this program at most of her auditions all over the US!
Unless there's a seperate piano only program that Im not aware of???
