Good place for breakfast in Tuscaloosa?

I’m not going to let you get me down, malanai. College baseball starts this weekend.

Just trying to keep you feisty, slippy. :)

Speaking of college baseball…
ROLL TIDE!

The Tide won their season opener.

slippy…eat at Another Broken Egg Cafe…it’s on the river walk.

It’s a great breakfast!!! Be prepared to wait.

the original broken egg is in mandeville, la.
we used to eat there when we lived in la.

yum!

I have eaten at the one in Mandeville, Mike. It’s good.

I second The Waysider. It’s a tiny place in an old house but it is very popular. Lots of UA memorabilia on the walls. Traditional southern food and decent prices.

My post didn’t post, so I’ll post it again! The Waysider is a local favorite. It is tiny, in a house. Southern staples and the place is filled with UA memorabilia. Decent food and prices.

Waysider IS open on Sunday, and it’s the most popular day. Get there early.
It’s all about the biscuits.
Oh, and the fried chicken.
Honey on everything!

We had breakfast at the Waysider last weekend. It was very crowded! Also took more a bit to figure out the parking (it is in back of the building and you have to loop around the block). Good Bama feel to the place…lots of memorabilia.

Perhaps I should just eat at Cracker Barrel. Bama memorabilia makes me lose my appetite.
