Good Pre-Calc/Calc book?

I really want to find a decent pre-calc and calc book with problems in it and that gasp ACTUALLY shows you how to get the answers! Strange I know, since every single textbook I've seen just gives you an answer and you're sitting there wondering "... Where did this come from?"

Anyone have any good recommendations?

Our School uses:
"Calculus: With Early Transcendental Functions"
by Larson and Hostetler.

The odd (or even?) problems have a solutions manual that shows you how you should work each problem.
