"Good" schools with the highest transfer acceptance rates

Stop being ignorant and don't post statements like a certain schools sucks. I am transferring out of Emory and can attest that Emory is an amazing school, just not for me. Emory is a great school; just because you had problems with the admissions office does not mean that you should condemn the college. I actually came to know three of the admissions officers at Emory fairly well and they're awesome people. They told me all the interesting things about admissions and are generally fun and fair people.

ok cool...

Cornell only has a relatively high transfer acceptance rate because a few of its schools are partly endowed by the state of NY and are required to accept more instate applicants.

vassar hard to get into ?

you guys know anything about the avg transfer infos etc ?

What school are you going to from emory, and why?

Does anybody have statistics on WUSTL transfers?

to whoever said berkeley has a high acceptance rate for transfers...is wrong. the acceptance rate for transfers is about the same as incoming freshmen, at about 25%. and if you consider 25% high...then ok, but i dont think that's a high rate.
what about UCSB, UCD, UCSD? those are good schools too, and have higher acceptance rates than UCB

I think the guaranteed transfers starting from UCSD down are extremely generous. I don't know even know how they can sustain them, maybe there is just not as much people applying for transfer spots (although a lot of the UCs are raising the transfer GPAs for the guaranteed admissions).

But still, a 3.0 community college GPA to guarantee you into at least a top 40 school - I think it's a pretty incredible system. Overall, the acceptance rates are in 60's, which is quote high.

Do any other stats have guarantees like this between community colleges and prestigious state/private schools?

can someone elaborate on cornell's articulation agreements with NY cc's? I was reading somewhere that ILR has agreements with 4 year colleges...anyone have a link or any insight? Also, if ILR admits around 60%...what would be the realistic figure for an out of state non CC applicant?

U want high transfer rates....consider UCSC or UCR....both of them accept many transfer students. That is, if u r a CAL resident. I believe they accept above 60% of their applicants. Another good UC schools would be UC Davis. They have somewhat of a 50% acceptance rate. Then would come Irvine, Santa Barbara, San Diego, LA and Berkeley being the toughest to transfer into.

how do you quote things? i am having trouble

wm has a nearly 47% transfer rate
