Transfer Help!!

Hi so I am looking to Transfer schools. Right now I am at the University of Rochester (top 40 college). I love the academics and I love my friends, but there are some things I would like different. The social scene is a little lacking for me. I really want to be at a school where the students are really into school spirit and have sporting events that are attended by the students. I am only going to be applying for schools that have a better reputation than the one I am at now (doesnt make sense to go down in academics)

My Stats:
HS GPA: 3.5 (very competitive and nationally recognized high school)
College GPA: 3.76 (may have a grade change that bumps me up to around a 3.8)
Majors: Political Science and English
ACT: 33
Extra Curricular Activities: Literally ran out of space on the common app for these. Tons in high school and college

The schools I am interested in are UVA (Out of state so it will be more difficult I know), Stanford (Big shot in the dark, basically no chance, but one thing I think I have going for me is that my english major is concentrated in media/communications and I have around a 3.95 gpa in it and I want to apply to Stanford's communications major, so maybe that gives me a better chance?) Georgetown, Northwestern, USC

Really UVA is my #1 choice, I would love to go there.
Any thoughts about any of this? Thanks a lot in advance

I’ve heard that UNC puts in and out of state transfers in the same pool. What about Cornell? Vanderbilt? Notre Dame? Wake Forest?

Cornell doesn’t exactly fit the bill, and it is like an hour away from where I go now and I would like a little more of a change of scenery. Same with the others. I cannot see myself going to Notre Dame, Wake Forest is too small (Smaller than Rochester) and I visited Vandy and I didnt love it. UNC could be a possibility thanks.

unc , vanderbilt , emory? , uf , umiami , duke , ucla , texas

all big on school spirit, imo
