Good universities for a biology major?

Hello all, I come to you today with a question: what universities have a good course in biology? I really need to know for I am entering my junior year in HS and I would like to start compiling a list of Uni's to apply to.
Also, if you would, please tell me if these schools are competent:
-University of Hawaii at Manoa (I really like Hawaii, however this one is just to sate my curiosity for I have no intent on going there unless it is stellar)
-University of Washington
-Arizona State University( I've heard bad things about this school, but I've heard some programs are good)
-University of Minnesota Twin Cities
-University of Colorado Boulder
-University of Utah
Also could you please list your alma mater or your current school and give your opinion of it's biology program, I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

Biology is one of those majors that pretty much any school is going to have a solid curriculum for. What you choose if you want to go for a bio major depends on a ton of factors, like what your goals are for the degree after (medical school, grad school, etc.). There are also the more general factors like what you can afford and what kind of environment you’re looking for.

I’m a senior at Northeastern University studying neuroscience (which is part of the bio department) and have really enjoyed my experience. You also listed U of MN on your list, which was also one of my top choices. I was really impressed with the College of Biological Sciences there and their biology foundations course. They also offered me a scholarship to start research my freshman year and had me have coffee with the dean of the college when I visited.
