@tomatojuice I’ve read online that multiple referrals are good. I’m guessing that the more people that would want you for the job = the more qualified you seem
ugh im getting antsy.
@HeadsInTheClouds same. Seems like it’s going to be quiet for a while. No November update for me just yet.
Can an Indian student (living in India) apply for google bold internship??
@“r@k” Hi, from my understanding and research, the Google Bold internship is limited to those who have “Authorization to work in the United States.”
@cec373 Also just got the “Thank You For Your Interest In Google’s 2019 BOLD Internship!” email. Same content that you said it had, with just information about the hiring process. Still patiently waiting to hear back~
@LilianaCS Just got that email as well
Also application closes by Monday so we should be hearing about interviews soon…
How did y’all address your cover letters?
@LilianaCS yep! That’s the email I received. Still waiting as well!
This is the third time I’ve received it lol
Also received the email. Hope we hear back soon
I got the email everyones been talking about yesterday, then a recruiter viewed my LinkedIn, then I got my rejection email today. I guess getting referred does help you get noticed haha, because I feel like I was rejected quite quickly. Anyway, good luck to you all!
@tomatojuice Oh wow, I’m getting nervous now. Good luck with to you as well! I’m sure you’ll still be doing something amazing!
@ReedCM any word yet?
Hey guys,
In the email providing the supplemental form, were you guys assigned a recruiter? I was assigned Eden, she emailed me the supplemental form.
The recruited who sent me my rejection was not the same person as the person who sent me my supplemental, fyi
That is a good point @JoyceManor, I didn’t even realize there was a name at the bottom of the email that said “Thank you for your interest in Google’s…”
There’s still not really a way to get in contact with the recruiter though
Amazon is going to NoVa and NYC! That’s exciting for policy people like me!
