I've received internship offers from Google (Sales Finance) and BCG (both in London) for the upcoming summer. I just wanted to get your ideas on the pros and cons of each. If any of you have experience working at either of these companies then your insight would be greatly appreciated.

In terms of my career plans (I'm currently an undergrad), I'd like to ultimately start my own business (not necessarily in tech). What I want out of an internship is career flexibility, a really good learning experience, an intellectual challenge, and a good shot at being offered a full time position.

Juggled a similar situation (GOOGLE vs. finance/consulting role). I ultimately went with the latter, just because the finance internship offer was my dream offer, and I could see it leveraging itself to a plethora of other roles if I decide to pursue other endeavors. BCG has a giant network in lots of places, and it could take you far re: starting a company or attending grad school. However, Sales Finance @Google sounds like an interesting position; do you know exactly what the position would entail? Maybe you could reach out to alums from Oxford that are currently at both Google/BCG, see where they see themselves going with their careers, and decide which one would be the best fit for you.
