Before I ask my question, here's some background. I graduated last year from a Top 50 school with a degree in psychology. After college I found a job with a startup and developed an interest in Information Technology. I applied to Bentley University and George Washington University for the Master of Science in Information Technology.

Today I received an acceptance package from George Washington University (very surprised!) but the form was dated April 25. Here's my question, the form of intent says I need to send in my response two weeks from the date but I received the package a week after the date. Would the school let me send in my response a little after the two weeks? The reason so is that I am re-taking the GMAT on May 20 in order to submit to Bentley. I talked to the Bentley coordinator and she said she would be able to hold my application until I submit the scores.

I feel getting a decision from Bentley after I submit my GMAT will be too long for GWU to wait. Does anyone have any experience or advice in GWU being open to extending my deadline for submission of intent?

Thank you for reading!

I also want to ask is there a difference in acceptance rate for MSIST and Master in Accountancy? I am waiting on my girlfriend’s decision before considering my options. She applied for the M.Accy program and is awaiting her decision.

Why don’t you just ask GWU if there is any flexibility…?

I did but their staff is unreachable…

Anyone have any advice??

well we just found out we both got in so don’t need to ask anymore!

WOOHOO!

what are the placements of GWU MSIST program?
Can anybody advise on this?

Hint - the names of the current Professors are located at [Faculty | Master of Science in Information Systems Technology | School of Business | The George Washington University](http://business.gwu.edu/msist/faculty/).

You may find additional MSIST Professors and the their courses, Undergraduate and Graduate programs, at [Schedule of Classes](Schedule of Classes)
Take a look at all semesters and courses offered on the Main & Virginia Science & Technology Campuses.
I believe that some Graduate Professors may also teach undergraduate classes.
Remember to look for classes under INFSYSTEMSTECHNOLOGYMANAGEMENT. Some of the Professors listed as the Instructor may not be listed as a member of the faculty at [Faculty | Master of Science in Information Systems Technology | School of Business | The George Washington University](http://business.gwu.edu/msist/faculty/). I think those Professors are part-time instructors.

Post questions there….someone less bashful than me may be willing to answer your questions. I am not sure if the GWU MSIST Facebook page is still active; however, the aforementioned Facebook site is for The George Washington University School of Business
