Got into NSHSS on a few waiver...

So from what I’ve heard, the general consensus on the National Society of High School Scholars is that is a scam.

I got in it on a full few waiver, though, and paid no money.

My question is, should I put it down as an accomplishment on college apps? Or will that not look good, seeing as typically you buy membership?

(Also, I am a part of several other honor societies through school, so it’s not like NSHSS is my only accomplishment)

No. It’s not well respected.

It’s not an accomplishment, it’s a scam. It’s a joke. Those bumper stickers proclaim to the world that you were duped.

Didn’t even look legit to me. Also got one in high school, think I tossed it out, don’t put it.
