Is this a decision letter?

no loll i got my e-mail address..for next year
the login info and stuff for Albert. I was accepted in december with everyone else

Makes sense now.

Does my NetID have to be the one that it assigns to me? Is it pre-set or random so that I can have it changed? Basically, do I have any kind of choice or will it keep telling me the same NetID everytime I try to set it up?

It is automatically assigned to you, but once you set up the account, you will be able to add another username of your choice.

I tried to be slick and sign into an account using my SSN. It said something along the lines of "This does not match the name we have for you" or something like that. Let's hope that it means good news in the future.

I went to that site and it said this:

Information for: (actually said my name, but deleted for privacy)

Our records indicate that you are not currently an eligible student, employee, or affiliate of New York University.

If this information is in error, please contact the ITS Accounts Office.

I wonder what this means...

Safiamike, are you an RD applicant?

Yep...Still confused...

Early decision acceptees can now use their NYU e-mails. Like "jsmith@nyu.edu".
