In high school, I took a few college courses at a local community college. Most of these classes, (22 credit hours), I got As. In the one 4 credit hour class I took back then, a general education course, I got a B. Another elective, I received an A-. Since being an undergraduate student, I have taken 59 credit hours and have maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA. Having all As in my undergraduate years as a double major student, I thought would be great. I recently learned, though, that law schools will factor those two low grades from high school college courses into my total GPA. Is this going to harm my chances of getting into a fantastic law school? Will it mean I won’t get the best scholarships? I’m very worried now that my hard work to maintain all As will be for nothing since those pre-college days are part of my cumulative GPA. Help. ?
for law school, ALL college courses count, up and until your obtain your BA/BS. So, those dual enrollment classes will be factored into your cumulative LSDAS GPA calculations.
Similar to admissions, merit money is based primarily on GPA+LSAT scores. Good luck.
