Hi, so this is my second year (sophomore) of attending Temple and I have a bit of a predicament. I received Dean’s Scholarship for the first year which covered half of my tuition, but for the second year, because of my low math grade, I have a GPA of 2.95 but I need 3.00 to keep my scholarship. Is there anyway I could ask professors to help raise my grade and retain my scholarship? I am really desperate
No.
What grade did you get? How numerically close are you to the next next letter grade?
How well does the professor know you? Did you go every week to office hours? Did you turn in every problem set, participate in class, ask questions?
What you needed to do was IN JUNE talk to financial aid and ask the Registrar which community college classes transfer, then take one class and get an A.
Or is that a summer class you just got your grade for?
