GPA calculating

Can I calculate my GPA including senior year grades and put this new GPA (significant improvement) on the CommonApp if my transcript doesn't show them yet? Or should I just enter the GPA from before senior year grades? Thanks in advance.

You put in your GPA to date. If you’re through with Senior year then you should include it. You can’t just project some grades to make yourself look better.

I just finished up my first semester and did very well, but changes have not been made to my official transcript as of today. That’s why I’m concerned about reporting a GPA including grades from senior year so far.

Typically GPA reported is from end of Junior year. Many schools request first marking period or mid-year grade reports as a follow-up to an application - best to let them do any re-calculating that they want to do. GPA is not re-calculated with mid-year grades; with the possible exception of classes that were only one semester, so that a Final grade has been recorded.
