I am looking at applying for internships for this summer. I have a 3.1-3.2...
is my gpa too low for any good internship this summer? I am a computer science major btw.

As long as you have an awesome resume and nice interviewing skill then you should be fine. 3.0 is the cut off point for “good” internship, I believe.

I have a friend with 3.4 who got internship at Microsoft last summer, and they offered him full time if he comes back again this year. 2 other friends got into ViaSat and HP with their 3.8~3.9 GPA.

Anyhow, you are good Just brush up those data structure before interview :)

Damn…a 3.8-3.9 you said?
Isnt that super high for CS majors?

Just show that you are passionate, and be happy about yourself. Make interesting conversation even if you aren’t interesting and make them curious about you. Don’t tell them everything about yourself at once in the beginning of the interview; always bring up outside information about your hobbies or something you read about if it’s relevant.

Go to the DECAF fair and dress like you are going to meet Obama. Be friendly and welcoming, and also professional. As I’m sure you’re aware, computer science doesn’t require a full on suit, so dress and act like you think they would. They are interviewing you because they (or someone else) is going to have to talk to you and sit next to you ALL DAY if they accept you, so don’t do anything stupid.
