<p>I am applying to highly selective colleges (UPenn, Cornell, UMich, Duke etc.)
I have everything in check including ACT, Recs, essays etc. BUT the only thing holding me back is my gpa.
The following is my highschool workload, even though my gpa is low, will colleges forgive my gpa with the workload i have?</p>
<p>8th Grade (in my Junior HS) (I don't think they are considered honors in High School buy when I took them in JHS, I was in all honor classes):
Algebra 1: 88
Earth Science: 93
Spanish year 1: 85</p>
<p>9th Grade:
English year 1 (H = Honors) **: 90
**Global History year 1 H: 90
Geometry H: 90</p>
<p>Sciences: (I had the same teacher for both of the classes listed below, she didn't like me, I didn't like her :/)
Living Environment H: 80
<a href="Freshman">b</a> Science Research H (The class affiliated with the best program my school offers; also ranked high in all city schools)*: 85<br>
