Gpa ?

Hi everybody,

Since last year (I'm a senior, and I'm referring to the past two semesters) I've had strait A's, and as for the first semester of this year, it will probably be the same.
The problem is before that I wasn't that good, and most of my grades were B+ although in my favorite subjects I always had A+.

Would this negatively affect my application, considering I greatly improved ?

It’s good that you’ve shown improvement, but you will definitely be competing against people who have held straight A’s throughout their entire high school career.

You are in dire straits.

Bump ! Would be GPA of the last few years so penalizing ?

Class rank matters more than GPA honestly. Hooks and ECs matter more than that.
Getting B’s in your freshman year isn’t going to keep you out though.

Ok, since last year I honestly only get A’s, before that I used to get B’s and some A’s (I was 14, I didn’t care much).

So it wouldn’t really hurt me that much, considering I have excellent grades now ?
