I’m sure you understand that there is no way to calculate your rank given the three data points you’ve given (your average, the highest average, and the number of students in your grade.). If it were possible then AO’s could easily determine what everyone’s ranks are where the school profile gives the highest gpa and class size which most do.</p>
<p>Look at your school profile sheet and see if it provides data on gpa’s for your class. Many school provide gpa bands such as deciles or quintiles. Use this to estimate where you fall in relation to the class. This is what AO’s do.</p>
<p>well, it is possible given that my school is not hyper competitive, to use the curve for average grades for the country, where it shows how many students get such and such grade. </p>

Even if such a thing exists, a university is not going to view one transcript in that context; that would be beyond meaningless.</p>
