Grad School Criteria

So, I’m only a freshman in the University at Buffalo(SUNY). Hypothetically if I were to get a 3.7GPA+, what are my chances of getting into a top grad school for physics, like Princeton or Berkeley. Would it be better if I were to transfer out into a better undergrad school, or should I just stay in a SUNY and work for a high GPA. Thank you!
