I'm currently at UC Berkeley as an undergrad majoring in bioengineering. What GPA do I need in order to have a good shot at top engineering graduate schools and top business schools (ie. Stanford, Harvard)? I'm considering doing undergrad engineering and combining it with business grad school.

What do you mean by business grad school?

A 3.5+ will make you competitive at most schools while a 3.7 will make you very competitive for most top programs. Don't underestimate the importance of work experience for business school though, its an essential component to the application process.

Rudin, sorry I meant just "business school" vs. "engineering grad school"

veinnariver, for the 3.5 and 3.7, do you mean for business school or engineering grad school? Or both?

Generally speaking both.....but it can be highly dependent on both for difficult situations.
