Hello all,

I posted this in the graduate forum but it seems to not be getting any answers, im trying here to see if I can get some feedback.

Right now, im pretty sure I want to pursue a career in the public health sector. I wanted to do epidemiology but I realized its more on the quantitive side of establishing risk factors and prevention of diseases. I want to focus more on the biological aspect.

Problem is, other than GWU, I cant find a Masters program (not post doctorate) that is within the field of micro/immune/vir-ology with specialization of infectious diseases. I came across the program in GWU because my cousin is doing the exact program I want to pursure (The actual name is a Masters in Public Health Microbiology with Emerging infectious diseases) But I want to look at other schools just incase my chances of getting into GWU are slim. But still up to now I havent found any. I saw Georgetown but the only thing similar they have is bioterrorism prevention or something ike that which seems to narrow for my tastes

It seems that there are many broad terms for this sort of degree, its not a plain black and white title that is easy to find such as "economics" and I either end up having to look at both departments of medicine and public health and its starting to become a hassle, but I guess im really not looking hard enough.

So my question, does anyone know of any other programs that line in with the subjects I listed above?
