Is there like an unofficial list of colleges that practice grade deflation or inflation? To be honest, I would hate to go to a school with grade deflation. That's why CAL is low on my list. It makes everything cut throat, and it ruins your chances at getting into a grad school.

Berkeley has grade deflation? Do you know if it’s just certain departments or if it’s throughout UCB? What about for math majors?

I just know that students sabotage each other left and right because only the top 1% get As. I’ve heard this from econ, psci, and math majors

Yeah, some people sabotage others for higher grades. Tougher schools tend to have stricter curves for their grading system.

Does anyone know if the top LAC practice grade inflation? I know most of the Ivies do

Swarthmore has a t-shirt that reads, “ANYWHERE else, it would’ve be an A!”

lol! funny shirt! i want it!!

as far as I know most of the elite LACs are really rigorous.
most of the ivies have grade inflation?? Uhhhh, i dont know much about it. so no comments.
