I currently go to Wellesley(hellesley) , but I want to transfer to Tufts They have implemented a mandatory class average of a B+...so basically everyone gets Bs. Does Tufts have the same sort of policy? I don't want to transfer to another version of the same school where I can't get the grade I worked for.

Class average of B+, doesn't that mean that a lot should get A's?

No more people get B's and C-s to counter the people who might get an A

But still a good portion (for a college course) of the class get A's.

I'm not sure how it is at Tufts, but what you described is fairly common. My Physics class at highschool has a mandatory average of 85 and my college classes at SBU had roughly the same.

Class averages of B+!?!? In the sciences that would be laughable :) However I could see that happening in some liberal arts fields of the summa cum laude breeding majors. Science is always hardcore B- average.
