For Amherst students or anyone who know? please please answer the series of questions.

Thank you in advance!!

What is the grade distribution like at Amherst? Inflation? Deflation?

What % of premed students are acutally accepted into medical school? i searched Amherst’s website, but I didn’t find anything about which medical schools specifically.

Do a lot of Amherst students go to Grad school (i.e. PhD in Chemistry)? Do most Amherst students get into top Grad schools?

I know that Amherst has a very open approach to undergraduate education. But how do the students actually do after college? Do they all end up at top grad schools/med schools/jobs?

There is generally some grade inflation, although not so much in the sciences, which you seem to be most interested in. In most humanities courses, you can get a B fairly easily if you do all the work.

I don't know the exact number, but I believe it's well above 90%.

I'm not sure what the numbers are for PhD Chemistry, but lots of students go to grad schools, and they generally go to very fine grad schools.

Students generally do very well after college. Everybody seems to end up at a great grad school (I know of one senior who was deciding between Harvard, Yale, and Stanford Law), or land great jobs. The biggest destinations after graduation are Med school, Law school, another kind of grad school, and Finance/IBanking.
