HAHAHAHA my math profesor just gave 41 people Fs, and there are only 150 people there

talking to one of the biochem professors, i learned that at least in the sciences, there isn't too much of a grade inflation and that in fact, many graduate programs weight UCLA gpas slightly more... however, i really have no idea about the validity of this.

There's both inflation and deflation.

^True, but I have a hunch that the deflation outnumbers the inflation by far, at least for south campus courses. Although I've only had 2 professors in the past that actually curved up, what most professors will do is if they sense they have a strong class (by the types of questions asked in class, performance on the first midterm, etc), they will make their next midterm and finals more difficult than previous years to force out a curve where there otherwise wouldn't be one.

some of the north campus majors have grade inflation. south campus has NO inflation and possibly deflation.
