Grade inlfation?

<p>no. The only required class at WashU is Writing 1, which you take either fall or spring freshman year. The chem/bio/physics are requirements for the bio major/premed program.</p>

for those of you who are curious about the chem though, here's the website for the chem lab class. It's specifically a link to the exams section of the webpage. If you click on the exam keys, the first page shows you a grade distribution, in case you're curious about that sort of thing. And you can get a general feel for the lab class.
The other chem class, gen chem, has a webpage that's only open to current students. (sorry guys!)
I'll warn you now though, that most people (even if I'm not one of them) tend to see the chem lab class as similar to AP chem, and a lot of people think it's a whole lot easier than gen chem...
