Graduate in 3.5 years?

I’m a spring admit and will have 25.7 units (because of AP) by the time I graduate. Would I be able to graduate from UC Berkeley in summer of '09? I don’t really want to do extension.

depends on your major.....if you're EECS, then maybe. If you're Letters and Science, Definitely yes. My freshman year roommate is graduating in three years with a double major in economics and MCB......and he's going to Stanford for grad school. There are quite a few people who graduate in under 4 years, but most stay for 4 due to social reasons or to do an honor's thesis, or to double-major.

I knew a guy who graduated in 2 years. Granted, it wasn't "really" 2, because he really loaded up on Berkeley Summer sessions classes - basically, he did 3 summer sessions, each with full-load.

Awesome news...Thanks for the replies! A long summer looks very possible now.

Oh my God! That has to be the shortest post ever by Sakky! What's the deal, man? You're lettting me down. I think I'm going to collect your posts and make an anthology of Sakky

Sometimes the questions are easy. If somebody asks if something is possible, well, yes, it is almost always possible.

its possible, just make sure that those units actually are transferrable to something useful instead of being useless units

what? why do you wanna graduate so early??? college only comes one in a lifetime, and college is like a playground for young adults.......you dont wanna play?!?!? o_O gasp thats horrible!!

nah just kidding, umm, yeah, depending on major, you can graduate early, but for some majors, they dont always offer their classes and then you can't graduate cuz you have to wait for them to offer that class you need to graduate......and yeah shrugs

When does the school year begin and end for the Spring 2006 admits? Also, if I am admitted spring 2006, do I have to start every year in January or can I start my second school year in the fall? I really want to graduate with everybody else.

its just means the first year, you start in january, but thats about it

Jesus, hlcandy, I don't want to be rude, but please tell me you're joking? Please tell me you don't think that because you are a spring admit that they would only let you go to school during the spring for the entire time you're at Cal. Please, please tell me you are smarter than that!
