Hey
I'm new to this site, so this might be a vague question, but I'm English and want to come to the US for grad school. My biggest goal in life is to be head of communications for a UN body, but obviously I've got to start small!

I have been advised to look into taking a journalism/communications degree.

I can only afford a one year course, I'm predicted a good 2:1 which MAYBE like 3.5/6????

The course I'm most interested in is the one at Columbia University, but obviously that's insanely hard to get in to.

How well regarded is USC-Annenburg school of communications? Even if you haven't gone there have you even heard of them?

Does anybody else have any ideas? Ideally (because of easier flight connections to the UK) I would be looking at being either on the East or West Coast, or Chicago(northwestern) area.

Thanks

Ellie
