Graduate School Admissions for Engineering majors?

I was wondering if anyone had any knowledge of where the students graduating from the engineering programs are getting admitted to graduate school. If students do well are they getting admitted to competitive grad schools? Thanks

DD, who did not attend UA, is a grad student at Washington University in St. Louis. One of her friends and colleague attended UA (CS major)

That is good to know. What is she studying?

Graduate student in CS

Alabama grads are accepted into top programs across the US. if your child does well, scores well on the GRE exams, gets good LORs, he shouldn’t have any troubles.

Grad school admissions are concerned with GPA, course curriculum, GRE scores, related-ECs/research, and LORs.

When my older son went thru the grad school app process, we quickly learned that students from a variety of schools get accepted into top programs. When son arrived at his elite PhD school, he found that his classmates were from ivies, flagships, small privates, and unranked regional publics.
