Graduating High school a semester early? Will it mess up my college admission chances?

I have doubled up on my classes from my freshman year. I have more than enough credits to graduate. I only need two more mandatory credit to graduate. I have been thinking of graduating after the first semester. I will take the second semester to volunteer abroad. I am planning on starting college on time and applying at the usual time. I want to get out of my town ASAP it is not a good environment for me.
Will this mess up my college admission chances?

Other info:

  1. I have obtained a 3.85 GPA all through high school
  2. ACT score is a 23 (but retaking it in September)
  3. I will be taking a lot of college classes through my local college in the first semester
  4. To graduate early I would have to transfer schools ( I dont have any social concerns about this)

I don’t think your plan will help your admissions chances. You test scores are very low, and changing schools makes it hard to get good recommendations.

Which universities do you want to apply to? Where do you intend to volunteer abroad?

I don’t see how graduating early could help, but whether it hurts might depend upon where you want to go to university. It seems odd to be graduating from a high school where you are only planning on attending for one semester.
