I am currently trying to decide whether or not I should go to an alternative school to graduate early from high school. I am a junior and I am stuck because I don’t want to ruin my chances to get into college? Does anyone know what my chances are of getting in to a UC or CSU if I graduate from high school early.
It really depends on your GPA at the alternative school, I think
You need to meet the a-g course requirements for the Cal States and UC’s. If you have finished all the requirements early, then yes you can graduate early but why? You will be competing against applicants that have 4 years of grades/classes and EC’s, which may put you at a disadvantage. What do you plan to do in the interim since you need to apply next Fall for the following year? In my opinion, stay in school and look forward to enjoying your Senior year.

Graduating early is usually not a good idea. Think about dual enrollment to accumulate credits and improve test scores. That would save you money in college education and improve your chance for admission and merit scholarships.
