Graduating high school in 3 years

<p>Ok, I want to graduate High School in 3 Years, I just entered Junior year. I have a few questions.</p>

<p>What do colleges (Such as MIT, Caltech, UC Berkeley, University of Illinois) think of early grads?
Is this a good schedule for early grad?
Is it a good idea to graduate early?
Should I do Senior Year? I've reached the end of all the course paths, it would mainly be for electives, clubs, and the social things (prom, etc)</p>

6 Math Credits (3 Years)
8 English Credits (4 Years)
6 History Credits (3 Years)
6 Science Credits (3 Years)
6 Credits of World Language (3 Years)
1 Fine Art Credit
2 P.E Credits (2 Years)
1 Health Credit (1 Year)
6 Elective Credits
5 Directed Elective Credits (World Language counts in this, but you need 6 credits of World Language)</p>

<p>Um , I don’t really know about this stuff, but I have the same option as you do. I’m a sophomore, but I already have all my math credits and will have my science and social studies ones by the end of junior year. But… I think I’m going to opt out of graduating early. One reason is that I have this goal of becoming valedictorian , and even though it’s pretty difficult to achieve and I don’t know how mic of a chance I’ll stand, if I graduate a year early this goal will be impossible. Mostly because I need all four years to fit in enough APs and to counterbalance all the required standard classes I had to take. Another reason is because most prestigious clubs at my school are only available junior and senior year, and underclass men are super unlikely to get leadership positions in clubs. All these things affect my college app into college. </p>

<p>Also think about graduating with all your friends, having a fun time senior year, getting in what you can before you have to seriously focus in college (especially at schools like MIT)</p>

<p>I considered doing it too. (I could’ve graduated sophomore year.) I was told by admissions officers that it’s not a good idea.</p>
