Hi! I’m entering UBC first year with the intention of majoring in geography, I am very keen to graduate and was wondering what the chances of graduating in 3 years is? To graduate from UBC requires 120 and typically each course is 3 credits. If I was to graduate in 3 years, would I most likely need to take summer school? Thanks!
Hello!
I know many students who have graduated or are in the process of taking courses at UBC. From what I know, it takes a lot more effort to graduate early. So summer school courses are pretty much a must, especially is you plan to graduate in 3 years.
When deciding about summer school, remember to check to see if the courses you need are available in summer school as well! There are times when courses you need to graduate are not available to be taken over the summer.
It’s a good idea to talk to your peers and teachers at UBC to get the best expert advice, though.
Good luck to your studies!
