"Great Books" at Tulane?

Hey, i was just wondering if Tulane offered any options for a "Great Books" style education, whether it's its own program or just a couple of courses that students can take.

For those that aren't familiar with "Great Books", it's a form of education that involves studying all of western culture from the greeks to the present through mostly primary documents and class discussion. St. John's College only uses a "Great Books" curriculem, UChicago and Columbia have extensive cores that involve the "great books", and many other school offer optional "great books" cores.

So, I was just wondering if tulane offered at least a couple of courses like this, maybe through the honors program or something.

thanks

There is no formal Great Books program, unfortunately. However, there is a classical studies program, which might offer courses you'd be interested in.
