great colleges with open curriculums?

I am tired of general education requirements. You are supposed to be exploring in college! I want a school that has a limited number of gen ed courses you are forced to take or one that has none at all.

I know Brown is one. Any others?

I have heard that University of Rochestor has a pretty liberal curriuculum has well.

Up here in Cornell, we have something called a College Scholars program that is very similar to what you have described. Check that out and if you have any questions ask CayugaRed2005 about this program, he/she seems to know more about it than I do.

Wesleyan and Hamilton

Vassar, Grinnell, Smith, Amherst

Wesleyan does have general ed (distribution) requirements in humanities, social science and natural science.

The distribution requirements at Wesleyan are only required to graduate with a degree with honors, I think.

^ We just visited Wesleyan & were told the distribution requirements are only required for a degree with honors but are an "expectation" for everyone, meaning you'll get lots of pressure from advisers to meet them but they won't deny you your sheepskin if you don't.

Daughter is at Wes and yes the distribution requirements are strongly pushed by advisors.
