Does having a great grandfather who went to Cornell and became a Rear-Admiral even remotely affect my chances? I seriously doubt I'll get in, but I'm just wondering.

Erm, I dunno if you can qualify as a legacy with only one relative who attended Cornell that far back, and the fact that he became a Rear-Admiral really doesn't matter, but look into their undergrad admissions site to check.

If you can qualify as a legacy with that, then I'm a first generation college applicant under the poverty line just because all four of my great-grandfathers were **** poor rice farmers.

Apply to the Naval Academy, He nominates you and your in.

Your Great Grandfather and my Great Grandfather would have hated eachother.

Mine was an Anarchist.

For Cornell, that is a legacy, the common app supplement asks for any parents, grandparents, or great grand parents that attended the school.

Kropotkinist or Bakuninist?

well he was Italian so i assume Bakuninist, but i dont know for sure

yup def counts,

Really? That's hilarious.
