Great schools with no supplements or extra essays

For time-strapped/lazy seniors! :) Those schools that have supplements that only require some biographical info, no extra essays, or have no supplement at all. Feel free to add on...

Wesleyan U
Vanderbilt
Duke (Why Duke is OPTIONAL)

Dartmouth doesn’t have one

But they have that gross peer evalutaion :(

That’s nothing YOU have to do! You’re just sending a form to a friend! Hahaha

Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Arizona… applied to all of them and no extra material was required besides the basic. Though actually I think Minnesota required a counselor rec/ transcript request form.

American University has no common app supplement.

Oh, and if you have above a 3.4 GPA, UO does not require an essay. Also, the supplement for the University of British Columbia application is optional.

Also Boston College.

Middlebury and Harvard

University of Pittsburgh

its not on the common app, but their app still requires no essay; it simply asks to list ECs

Is this really a deciding factor for anyone? Penn State only has an optional personal statement. Ohio State’s is also optional. Personally, I enjoy getting to express myself to adcoms.

Many state schools don’t require essays, because they don’t have the budget/staff to read/evaluate them.
