Ah, but what if you don't want to take all those Wharton courses? I'd prefer doing a Math/Econ double-major.

I'm still nervous about going to CAS and not Wharton this Fall...

Don't worry, you'll be fine. If you truly want to go into Ibanking, you should get in from the CAS. I think the main reason why Wharton students are so sucessful at it is not entirely because of "Wharton" but because the school creates the character that pushes you to make connections and think about your career. I think if you keep those points in mind, you'll do very well. As a CAS student, you can attend Wharton (or Engineering) career fairs if you like.

I don't understand why Claremont McKenna is on the "no" list. They offer a 4+1 MBA program.

We are talking about BBAs, not MBAs. There are many 3+2 and 4+1 programs, but those are MBA programs.

alexandre, how is UCLA's economics program?

"Choice of major has little, if anything to do with business opportunities. Personal development, initiative, intellectual horsepower, networking, GPA and planning are all more important when looking for a career opportunity than major."

this is true, but for a lot of liberal arts majors you want to be sure you graduate with a minor in math, or a concentration or whatever your school calls it. you can definitely get a business job if you dont major in econ/business if you are bright and work hard, but not having any math in your degree can make is really tough.

UCLA's Econ department is one of the top 15 in the nation...arguably top 10.

What about UCSD's econ?

From a research angle, UCSD is as good as UCLA. However, I hear that UCSD has major budgetary limitations, which usually translates into poor undergraduate focus.

UCSD is one of the best science schools--especially bioscience in the country. Not a major business school, though--unless you plan on working at a scientific products/research company.

I have just been accepted to University of Arizona and Michigan State University.
I am a business marketing major and i am looking for a fun yet reutationable university.

I have done my research, an UA and MSU ranks almost the same under "US News 2006 undergraduate business program".

I haven't been to either campus but i hear MSU's campus is great because it is an agricultural college. But UA is based in tuson, AZ, and i have seen pics of the campus and it looks great.

I know that the party scenes are also great at UA and MSU.

Academic wise, UA and MSU holds about the same also. Does anyone know if majority of students at UA or MSU are smart (i mean will influence ur future) or are they just a bunch of average Joes??????????

But i think MSU hold it over UA for reputation wise, i mean it isn't a bad school.

I got a scholarship to UA for three years but never got one from MSU.

PLEASE HELP ME MAKE A DECISION!!!!! I"M BEGGING SOMEONE, SHARE SOME WISEDOM!!!!!!!!

once again I posted on the other links stop hijacking other people's links go to MSU man. PM me if you want more info jeez.
