Greek Life at Downtown Phoenix campus?

Hi all,
I recently got accepted into ASU’s direct entry nursing program. Unfortunately, this major is only at the Downtown campus. I am hoping to go to a school with the whole “college vibe” and to be in a sorority. Obviously the Tempe campus is ideal, but is it still possible to be in a sorority when living in the downtown campus? I’ve heard of nursing students taking the lightrail to the main campus to still be involved in greek life. Do many nursing majors/downtown students do this? Is it realistic or just too much of a hassle?

I have sisters who are downtown and still were able to rush. It’s possible to do, just be mindful of the fact that for the 2 rush weekends, you will have to be on the Tempe campus all day and the shuttles only run for a certain amount of time. And once you actually join, there are weekly chapter meetings and various events depending on what house you’re in. It’s much easier if you have your own car though. It is honestly up to you and how much you want to commute.

But definitely rush! It’s an amazing experience.
