Is there a green architecture field? Is it a good one? What would one major in in order to go this path. thank you

there are environmental engineering programs that deal with sustainable design, and there are architecture programs that are focused on green design. However as we continue to build and come to grips with all the environmental issues we are facing, the notion of green design as a specialty is going to disappear, and you will find green design incorporated as a core principal in all design. I would get a regular architecture degree and focus my electives and studio options on green design, then perhaps follow up with a more specialized graduate degree.
